We started the Locals Only Nashville Passport because Nashville has so much more to offer than just the neon lights of Broadway. From the lively energy of East Nashville to the cozy, tucked-away spots in 12 South, we wanted to create an experience that encourages both locals and visitors to step off the beaten path and explore the full spectrum of what Nashville has to offer.

Patrick M. Wallen is the evil genius behind the Locals Only Nashville Passport, is a corporate lawyer by day and a professional bar-hopper by night. After realizing that there’s more to Nashville than Broadway (and wanting to show off his impeccable taste in local dives), Patrick decided to create a passport that helps people break out of their usual routines and explore the city’s hidden gems. Known for his no-nonsense legal skills and his love of whiskey flights, Patrick’s mission is to make sure locals and visitors alike see the best Nashville has to offer—one pub at a time.
